Access Statement For The Gallery
Introduction
Our self catering flat is on the first floor of Grade 1 listed Georgian town house. We have tried to provide as much information as possible in this statement, if you have any queries please ask us. We look forward to welcoming you.
Pre-Arrival
•We have a very comprehensive website with up to date availability and on-line, on demand quotations;
•Bookings / enquiries can be made via email, directly from the website or phone;
•The nearest bus stop is 20 metres from the entrance;
•The nearest train station (Bath Spa) is 0.5 miles away;
•We can arrange for shopping to be delivered on arrival.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
•Car park is levelled concrete and flat and even.
•There is on street parking (subject to availability) for which we can provide a Visitors parking permit at a cost of £3.00 per day.
•Guests cars can double park outside the entrance (for up to 9 minutes) to unload/load passengers and luggage.
House Entrance
•The entrance at the front has 2 steps. It has a railing on the left and right of the door (door hinged on the left).
•The door is 80cm wide and the key hole lock is 80cm high
•Inside the front entrance is a corridor 1.1m wide which leads to the staircase.
•There is no lift in the house.
•The staircase is 2 flights to the first floor with landing in between. The stairs are 18cm high, 30cm deep, 97cm wide. They have a hand rail on the right.
The Flat:
•The door is 85cm wide inwards opening to a corridor. It is a fire door so is quite heavy. Key hole 80cm high.
•The corridor is 1m wide and leads to the drawing room, bedroom 1, bathroom/shower room 1 and to the staircase down to bedroom & shower room 2.
•Flat carpeted throughout (except bathrooms & kitchen) with short pile carpet
•Smoke alarms fitted in hall and gallery.
Drawing room
•The drawing room provides the soft seating area together with dining for 6 -oval table and 6 dining chairs 2 armed.
•Flooring is short pile carpet throughout with 2 large rugs;
•Some furniture is moveable and all is non feather;
•2 double sofas and one easy chair provided all armed;
•TV provided with remote control (also available are DVD, hifi & radio).
A wooden spiral staircase provides access to the gallery, where the guest computer is located and where 2 single beds can be provided for additional guests.
Bedrooms
•1 bedroom is off the hall, the other is down a staircase.
•Double beds provided – 5ft & 4ft6;
•Non Feather duvets and pillows provided;
•Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are poly cotton percale;
•Ensuite shower room to bedroom 2;
•Because of the doors and windows positions, beds are not movable.
Bathroom & Shower room
•Door width 79cm;
•Bath height is 47 cm. Integral bath rails available on both sides;
•Flooring is vinyl;
Separate showers are not level access but have 15cm high rim.
Kitchen
•Kitchen down 2 steps from drawing room;
•Worktop height 90cm;
•Oven door is drop down;
•Sink is 88cm high with cupboards underneath;
•Hob is 90cm high and induction;
•Flooring is laminate;
•Evenly lit kitchen with spotlights above work surfaces;
•Fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave provided;
Additional Information
• Information folder is produced in size 14 font;
•Good mobile phone reception;
•The flat is no smoking;
•Pets and service dogs are not permitted under the apartment lease;
•Wi-fi is available throughout the flat.
